The challenges

Among the more than seventy mussel producers in the Mytilimer group are a number of family-run operations and small-scale producers, accustomed to working in traditional ways. For them, as for larger producers, managing the business was often manual, done by telephone or email, due to the lack of access to a suitable tool.

In the purchasing department, too, processes were often manual. It was difficult for a purchasing manager to have an overall view of product availability, order status, incoming goods, etc., as the processes were often manual.
