Paris - April 15th, 2021 - In order to support our teams in the development of our software for fresh food, we are happy to be part of the startup acceleration program of SAP.Io Foundry Paris.
In January 2021, SAP.Io Foundry Paris launched a call for applications for its new acceleration program around Agribusiness. Composed of SAP employees, partners (Deloitte, Accenture), and investment funds (CapAgro and Astanor Venture), the members of the jury identified 900 international start-ups, and chose 8 of them, specialized in procurement, supply chain, decision support tools, etc., including ProcSea! During this program, the idea of helping to digitize the supply chain of the seafood industry will be our priority and will allow us to offer solutions to professionals in the sector (wholesalers, fishmongers, central purchasing offices, supermarkets, etc.).
Procsea is part of the 6th cohort of SAP accelaration program for startups, with its management software for the seafood sector.
As the market leader in enterprise application software, SAP.iO helps companies around the world become "smart companies."
Its goal?
To enable the food and beverage industry, including the fishery and aquaculture sector, to transform itself through new technologies to make a positive and sustainable impact.
SAP.iO enables people and organizations to have an in-depth view of their business and promotes collaboration.

"The agri-food industry is a major sector of activity for France. At the European level, it ranks second behind Germany, and today there are many large French groups with international scope. Innovation is a key factor in the sector's competitiveness, and it is also a way to reduce global food inequalities and problems. It is in this context that we decided to support startups in the Agtech field. It is with great enthusiasm that we are launching our first SAP startup acceleration program entirely dedicated to agriculture and agribusiness. (...) " ,explains Sébastien Gibier, director of the SAP.iO Foundry Paris acceleration program.
What does the SAP program consist of?
At the beginning of the year, SAP.iO Foundry Paris launched a call for applications for its agri-business startup acceleration program. 8 international startups, specializing in innovation around agriculture and agribusiness, were selected for this sixth edition.
By providing the seafood industry with the latest technologies, structuring and standardizing data, and improving the traceability and sustainability of the industry, ProcSea will benefit from support from SAP teams.
From April and during 10 weeks, Klarys will have the opportunity to be followed in its development of the management software and will thus have the opportunity to help professionals (wholesalers, fishmongers, central purchasing offices, retailers, etc.) in their digital transformation, and to enrich the platforms of SAP customers.
