C'est aujourd'hui le leader suisse du secteur des Grands Magasins avec +1 million d'articles commercialisés et 2.800 fournisseurs, dont 700 producteurs locaux à travers son vaste réseau national (Grands Magasins, supermarchés Manor Food, restaurants Manora).
The technological challenges
Our mission was to develop a unified and easy-to-use purchasing and sales platform to enable local producers to sell their seafood products in real time to seafood department managers, and to automate data exchanges.
The seafood market is sprawling and very competitive. Industrial players and many small local producers coexist. However, the latter do not always have access to the shelves of large-scale distribution, due to a lack of resources and knowledge to meet their technical and logistical specifications. The implementation of E.D.I. messages, for example, is a real obstacle for producers. And yet, consumers are demanding more sustainable local products and transparency.
For their part, purchasing centers and points of sale need management tools to improve productivity and operational performance throughout the supply chain, from production to sales.
